The City of Underwood (population 688) located close to Council Bluffs is accepting applications for a Wastewater/Street/Maintenance position. Grade 1 Wastewater Certificate highly desired, but not required. HS diploma or GED required. Full-time position within public works: including streets, wastewater, wastewater collection, vehicle maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, servicing meters and operation of equipment. Salary dependant on qualifications, employer paid benefits.

Water and/or Wastewater Operator - Interested candidate should possess a grade 2 Water and Wastewater license. Responsibilities will include operating either the Water and/or Wastewater plant on a daily basis, monitoring equipment, and assuring all applicable water standards are met.
