The City of Riverside seeks a full-time Maintenance 2 employee to work in the water, sanitary and storm sewer systems, streets, parks and other public facilities. Grade I Wastewater, Water treatment and Water Distribution operator’s license required. Prefer Grade 2 or must obtain Grade 2 within 18 months of employment. Applications accepted until 11/23/2011. Immediate opening for a certified operator to work in our Nora Springs, Iowa location to ensure and perform a variety of skilled, technical and administrative work in the operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of complex equipment and treatment processes. Iowa Grade II water/wastewater/distribution certifications preferred or ability to obtain within identified timeframes. Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean record, CDL preferred or ability to obtain. Required to live within 10- 30 minutes of Nora Springs. Incumbent must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize the workload. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical with a 100# lifting requirement. The City of Sibley is now accepting applications for the position of Water Operator. Minimum qualifications include: Graduation from High School and/or G.E.D. equivalent certificate. Must possess or have the ability to obtain Class 2 Water Licenses – Distribution and Treatment. C.D.L. (Class B) beneficial. Pre-employment drug screen and employment physical required.
