IRWA Fall Conferences 2019 - Vendor Information

The Iowa Rural Water Association’s Okoboji Fall Conference is scheduled for September 17-18 at Arrowwood Resort and the Dubuque Fall Conference is scheduled for October 15-16 at the Grand River Center.  I am inviting you to participate in one or both of these conferences.  Simply complete the appropriate Vendor Registration Form and return it to our office no later than August 31st, 2019.

Exhibit Fees

Exhibit fees include all breaks, Tuesday Lunch & Evening Meal for two (2) company representatives, 6 ft. skirted table and two chairs.  Booth electricity IS NOT offered at the Fall Conferences.  **Booth Space WILL be assigned by IRWA Staff based on receipt of application.**

Cancellation Policy

The IRWA Cancellation Policy is if written cancellation notice is received by September 3rd for Okoboji and October 1st for Dubuque, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.  No refunds will be issued for either conference after these dates.

Sponsorship

All vendors will be listed in the final programs.  In addition, please take a moment to review our Sponsorship Level opportunities; we would be honored to display your company logo during our conferences.

Additional Activities

The tradition continues with a Golf Tournament and Steak Fry at the Okoboji Fall Conference on Tuesday late afternoon and evening.  In Dubuque, we will again be hosting a Bowling Tournament followed by our Italian Buffet Social on Tuesday Evening following the training day.  Sponsorship opportunities are available for all events.

Okoboji Fall Conference Vendor Set Up: September 16th

Okoboji Fall Conference Exhibit Schedule: September 17th and 18th

Tuesday - 7:00 – 7:45 AM – during registration/breakfast
10:00 – 10:30 AM – morning break
12:30 – 1:15 PM – lunch break
2:15 – 2:30 PM – afternoon break
Wednesday – 7:30 – 8:00 AM – breakfast
10:00 – 10:30 AM – morning break/prize drawings
10:30 AM – Tear Down

Tournaments
We will have a golf tournament and Shooting Range Poker on Tuesday afternoon beginning at 4:00 PM.  You can sign up for these events on Tuesday at the IRWA registration desk.  Deadline for sign-up is 10:30 AM on Tuesday.  Following the tournament is a Steak Fry Dinner at Arrowwood Resort.  Two tickets to the supper are included in your vendor registration.  If you need additional meal tickets see an IRWA Staff member.  All tournament awards will be done during the Wednesday morning break.

Vendor PLINKO
Do you have promotional items to donate?  Donate them to the Vendor PLINKO game.  Each attendee receives a ticket to play, they get one chance to release the Plinko chip and win a prize.  Donated items from exhibitors range from $100 gift cards to key chains.  Bring your items to the IRWA Registration Desk on Monday afternoon and a staff person will place them in the game.

Tuesday Bowling Tournament – 4 PM
2-Man teams, 3 rounds of bowling, prizes will be awarded.  To be held at the Cherry Lanes inside Diamond Joe Casino.  Cost is $15.00 per person. Must sign up by 10:00 AM Tuesday at the IRWA registration desk.

Tuesday IRWA Annual Social Event – 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Join us for supper and social time at the Diamond Joe Casino Bridge/Harbor Room.  Supper buffet will be served starting at 6:30 PM.  On the menu is salad, breadstick, Baked Pasta Primavera and Chicken Parmesan which is included with your paid full registration.  There will be a host keg beer and cash bar available.  Supper service closes at 7:30 PM.  Following supper, stay and socialize, play a few games on the patio and enjoy time with friends. 

Vendor PLINKO
