2023 Sportsman's Raffle
A huge thank you to all the vendors who donated and
everyone who bought tickets for this year’s sportsman’s raffle. Thirty-One
Vendors and Regional Systems donated to the raffle this year. And amazing
donations they were! Up for raffle was a 21 year old scotch, a Chicago Cubs
game, a getaway fishing trip, some great wine made with Rural Water, a
couple of different Blackstone griddles and so much more. However, the star
of the show was the sweet little chocolate lab puppy! Thank you to McClure
for donating the puppy and providing a little puppy time to many conference
attendees. Congratulations to Colby Oberembt from Contractor Solutions on
winning the puppy. Colby says she is doing great and is a great fit with
the family (as you can see from the pictures Colby sent). Colby’s daughter
named the puppy Willow.
A very special thank you to volunteers and Sportsman’s Raffle Committee members Erin Allen of Surveying and Mapping, Gary Brons of McClure, Katie Bohrman of Water Surplus and Kelsey Groff of Malloy Electric for all your hard work during the raffle.
This year’s raffle raised $7059.00. The raffle will help fund the IRWA Equipment Loan Program helping small communities and systems throughout the State with equipment needs. Thank you again to all who made this year’s raffle a success. From the volunteers to the vendors and participants, your contributions of time and money are truly appreciated.
